This Friday, just in time for the weekend, Baird Beer will be returning to taps at all three GLB pubs. Favorites like the Angry Boy Brown Ale, Yabai-Yabai Strong Scotch Ale, and the Suruga Bay Imperial IPA will be making their return to Beijing, while seasonal beers such as the Red Rose Amber Ale, Shimaguni Stout, and Japan Tale Ale are set to make their first appearance.
As we welcome Baird back to our menu, the first beer on tap will be the 2016 Harvest Tohoku Wet Hop Ale. Brewed to celebrate the autumn hop harvest, Baird’s annual wet hop ale features entirely unprocessed Cascade and Centennial hops.
Since Bryan and Sayuri opened their Numazu Fishmarket taproom in 2000, Baird Beer has set the bar for quality in Asia’s craft beer scene. Baird pays homage to brewing tradition through the use of 100% floor malted barley and natural carbonation through bottle conditioning while representing Japan’s rich culinary history by incorporating classic local ingredients. We could not be more proud to welcome Baird Beer back to our taps.
