德国酿酒协会The German Brewers Association (Deutscher Brauer-Bund - DBB), based in the heart of Berlin, represents the interests of the entire German brewing industry.
The German Brewers Association is one of the oldest professional organizations of brewers in Europe and one of the oldest associations in Germany in these days. In July 1871, the Franco-German-War was just over, as about 1.000 brewers gathered in Dresden. They came from all countries of Germany, from Austria-Hungary, the Russian Empire, from Sweden, Belgium and France as well as from Switzerland and the US - but they had a common goal: The establishment of a strong association that represents their interests. The Deutscher Brauer-Bund was founded.
